Training Manuals
John Eck, Jill Dando Institute of Crime Science. University College London.
This manual focuses on the adoption of a problem solving approach, showing how crime analysis can be used and developed to support a problem oriented policing approach – based on the idea that the police should concentrate on identifying patterns of crime and anticipating crimes rather than just reacting to crimes once they have been committed.
This manual builds on the 55 steps document. The manual aims to provide basic knowledge of problem-oriented policing and the related fields of environmental criminology and situational crime prevention.

This website has been made possible through the support of Axeten and RISC who have contributed to the community and asked for nothing in return.
Axeten provides I3 OSINT online and classroom training services with separate courses for Public Authorities and the private sector. The online courses start every two months and just one person for your organisation can attend.
All of their courses come with CPD credits.
They provide a competitively priced OSINT investigation service and a very useful sources and resources website.
Also, they supply an NPCC (Project IRIS) approved investigation application.
The application called axe10. It runs on a local desktop or as axe10 Cloud on secure Amazon Workspaces.
